Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired

i used to really enjoy myself when i was home sick from school. i lived it up. but now it's just a pain in the - well, this time around, head, neck, ears, nose, and throat. i feel a great obligation to my 3 readers so i have drug myself out of bed, to the computer, to make this post.

i had hoped to post from colorado but was not prepaired for the 16 hour days i put in on the job, nor was i prepaired for how exhausting sitting and watching people talk could really be. the end result, i came home wiped out and pretty sick. i also did not get to bowl last night so for the one person who took pity and pledged $20 to BBBS (see previous post - it's probably not too late to pledge!) i hope it wasn't to hear marvelous tales of pins struck and pizza consumed. the money has been delivered but no bowling took place on my part.

all that being said, i am really excited for what God is up to around me. many good things happened in Colorado and it is fun to get to watch the Kingdom expand before your very eyes. not the least of which was meeting another person who is in the process of adopting from China as well. Don is a whole saler that works with our office quite a bit so i'm looking forward to getting to share our story with him and to share in his story as well.

i keep checking kim and nixy's blog. i really am just kind of numb over the whole experience. it's so close i think i can't quite focus on it. i've become myopic. so instead i'll just enjoy the view from other's vistas until reality crashes in on me at some point down the road.

that's it for now. back to the couch. it's much less work to breath if i'm not upright . . .
