i had tried a week or so ago to post with a handful of pictures but blogger choked. good intentions, doncha know?

things are good with us. God is really good and we're finally seeing some really cool things happening. things we've been praying and waiting for for quite some time. i guess i'm being intentionally vague because this is a rather public setting to hang the laundry and all. but, i don't want to overlook the good things being done.

joy is sleeping much better. that changes everything. she's starting to talk a bit. dada, daddy, dad, mama, and a little bit of isaac is in there sometimes. the babysitter said she heard "more" as well. usually joy is really excited about learning to talk at bedtime instead of falling asleep. she also is quick to point out our noses, eyes, and ears - which are other things she's working on. beside that she likes to read quantum physics.

isaac is good. a good big brother. he actually is doing better at not smothering his sister. of course, could be she's faster on her feet and can dish it back a bit more.
